The Charity
Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital Charity opened in June 2009 and is home to state-of-the-art facilities that have been designed with its young patients very much in mind. Although based in Manchester, the hospital is a region-wide facility and sees over 185,000 patients every year.
The hospital treats children from as far north as Cumbria, down to Stoke and across to North Wales.
Royal Manchester Children's Hospital raises funds to ensure continued excellence in treatment, care and research, enhancing the lives of thousands of children each year. We have three main areas of work:
- To support research projects to improve our understanding of children's illnesses
- To help to create an environment that's more child-friendly
- To provide state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment
The support that Royal Manchester Children's Hospital provides helps families to stay together and support one another during what can be a very difficult time for them. With your help, we can ensure that Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is not only the largest children's hospital in the country – but one of the best.
